In 2014 Meg began searching for a cavesson that would best fit her needs for groundwork, longeing, work in hand, and riding. She was looking for something that was elegant and ergonomic and that could be used both with and without a bit. Quality cavessons were difficult to find in the United States so she reached out to a saddle maker in Arizona named John Ogle of Ogle Saddlery. John made Meg her first cavesson bridle based on her specifications and requests and since then he sells them directly through his website. Meg typically has a couple complete sets on hand for sale here at the farm or you may contact John directly. The standard size will fit most horses from large pony to warmblood, but he has also done custom orders for ponies, drafts, and even for Meg’s ox, Jax. Please visit Ogle Saddlery’s website if you are interested in ordering one of Meg’s cavesson bridles.
