Narnia Stables is a small boarding and training facility that is dedicated to the overall health and well-being of the horse. Home of Meg Brauch Training. Meg’s work with horses is built around a classical dressage approach beginning with groundwork, work in hand, and liberty work to teach the horse balance and suppleness from the ground and develop connection and relationship with the rider. This is then transferred to the riding work.

Narnia Stables was conceived by Meg and Luther Brauch and construction was begun in late 2013. The facility currently consists of a 10 stall boarding stable, with a focus on training and developing the horse utilizing classical principles with a modern awareness of biomechanics and equine behavior. The indoor arena and full dressage size outdoor arena both feature GGT footing and provide an inviting space for training and learning. Narnia Stables is located at the parent farm of Paradise Farm, owned by Dennis and Sylvia Heffley. Paradise Farm is a 212 acre property featuring hay fields, a 37 acre pond, and mature forest for riding through. In 2023 we converted our traditional paddock set up to a track system. Horses have 24/7 access to forage and are out for 18 hours/day from May -October and 13 hours/day during the winter months. We don’t have openings for boarding horses very often, but feel free to reach out and check when there will be an available opening. Please understand that horses go out as a herd here. While we integrate slowly there is always some risk. All horses are required to be barefoot and must be able to integrate into our herd lifestyle. There is a once/week lesson or training requirement for all boarders.

Narnia Stables hosts many events throughout the year, including lectures, demonstrations and clinics. Please visit our Event Registration page for more details
